En Pointe's third generation, e-procurement application, AccessPointe, offers customers direct on-line access to over $4 billion dollars of the available mainstream PC distribution inventory. In addition to the information technology (IT) products available through AccessPointe, you can also purchase mainline office supplies, furniture, equipment, and facilities products for fast and easy ordering of all indirect expenditure items. AccessPointe allows En Pointe customers to identify products and electronically search the nationwide inventories of major manufacturers and wholesalers for best available price and delivery from a selection of 700,000 products. Each company, independently or with assistance from our En Pointe team, can create its own purchase standards. This provides our customers and its employees with a type of self-services when it comes to the purchase of complex configurable products such as personal computers. AccessPointe automates the creation of requisitions, provides a buyer and requisitioner platform, electronically submits the purchase orders to En Pointe's SAP System, and tracks the shipment online to delivery receipt signature. It even records the product serial numbers and equipment ship-to locations for integration to asset management applications.
